金满楼

When to newly open restaurant ‘金满楼’ for dinner last few days.
It was located at Jalan Pengkalan Chepa, Kota Bharu.
(Last time it was Yummy Restaurant)

According to KayBee folks, this restaurant was opened by partnership of few famous Uncle in Kaybee. They even invited 阿贤 to have their restaurant opening ceremony last few weeks ago.
Out of curiosity and thinking that the food would be nice, We went there to dinner.
Dad gave me the menu to choose of before we went there.
Cannot deny that they really have a lot of good food on the menu.
They served on package too ...
SetA : 2-4 pax with 4 dishes+ rice+ Chinese tea =Rm58
SetB : 5-7 pax with 5 dishes + rice + Chinese tea = Rm118
SetC : 8-10 pax with 6 dishes + rice + Chinese tea =Rm158.
As it is 7 of us for the dinner, we ordered SetB which there are dishes to be choose.

The story begin when i requested the menu.
The waitress gave me a 'short listed' menu rather than the menu that i saw before.
I was like :' huh? menu si zhe leh sajo o" " Pat leh menu bo meh" ''Zho mi an ne jiou"
The waitress answered in affirmative that : ' zhe le si wa lang kin jit e special', 'Try wa lang e special la' 'jin jia ho chiak'. ' zhe kuan li lang mian dan an ne gu'
Guess what, they are only TWO choices available. Yes, DUA SAHAJA
(For example : you can either choice Ikan Stim or Ikan Bakar from fish categories)
In other words, there are only two choices from each chicken, fish, vege,tauhu, egg, prawn, squid, soup to be choose.
The choices are so limited.
Argghhhh.....lol..out of no choice, finally i picked 5 dishes.

The food was served in quite a time but the most keksim thing is that the food is served in a very small portion. I mean is SMALL.
I was so pissed off and wondering Is it the owner think that we are two three small kitten who come out to cari makan??
And the food was COLD too. I think they should be cooking all the food early then just served it on to customers when someone ordered. KEK SI WA.....

When it comes to bills, there is 10% discount(on each set i guess).
Imagine that you have to paid Rm106.20 for limited choices of food to be selected, food served is already cold and portion is so small.
I would said it is NOT WORTH at all as you like eating nothing.
For those who wan to try out the restaurant, you better don't coz you will regret.

WinSoon Fish Head

Is makan time again.
Went to Ahsoon Fish Head Mee with my friends at Kuchai Lama.
Usually when KL people talks about Fish Head Mee, Winsoon will be the place.
This was the second time i had this fish head mee. Is called 鱼头米粉 in chinese.
The first time was at Kuchai Lama as well but it was at a 'xiao fan zhong xin' hawker stall.
Hm...How should i describe the taste???
They actually have 2 kind of soup. One is the normal like what you see in the picture below. Another kind is soup added with condensed milk. For the reason that i don't like condensed milk at all, i tried out normal soup for both first and second visit.
Beside soup, you can also choose to have 鱼头only or 鱼滑only or both.
Fish Head is fried and it feel so crispy ( if you put in soup for long time, it surely wont be crispy)
'Yu Hua' is some kind like the fist meat. I would said that i prefer the first time fish head mee that i had as the soup is more tasty with a bit of alchocol taste, fish head is more crispy, 'yu hua' is more elastic (yummy yummy) and it was so delicious. I missed the taste so much much much.

Furthermore, i love the sambal too. But this shop sambal is not as delicious as the first hawker shop that i visit. Another thing is that, the mihun is not like the mihun we have. According to my friend whose her bf is one of the restaurant partnership, they imported the mihun from china. Beside that, they put some tomato, ginger and 咸菜 into it also. It makes the dish more tasty.

Is just normal plate that they use. The soup get cold very fast.
Indirectly, the deliciousty decrease.
price : Rm 6 to 7 (not so sure)

This was our side order.
Is called 海鲜卷 or sth else ( i forgot)
We was so shocked when it is served.
Portion is so little but it cost us around Rm 5.50 to Rm6.50

What nice about this shop is that they will give a table a pack of this tissue.
You can ask from the waiter if you wan more pack.
(I guess la as my fren kata boleh minta if you wan)

I went to tried it last Saturday at TimeSquare...
Hm...sorry for not taking any pictures of the food to post up...
I would only said that the burger is so so only. Not that yummy yummy. Is just like Md i guess. And the price is expensive or nearly the Md price.
I ordered a spicy chicken burger set with fries and drink which cost me RM10sth if not mistaken. Ordered one piece of chicken, 4pcs of nugget and drink (which come in a set) cost Rm6.99 (if not mistaken also). This set would be cheaper but the it is serve in quite a small portion if i am able to said. Besides that, they still have variety of salad and burger which prices is above Rm10....
You can have a try if you wan. But dun ever put so high expectation on it....

ok la...Gonna stop here. Blog again whenever i go makan at new place.

JiMi Cafe

We were finding a place to online and SikWei suggested a place at Kubang Kerian area.
So, we thought that it is a good idea to go and have a look first.
And we spoted a place called JIMI CAFE located opposite Bilal Supermarket.
I would said that it is so called 'KB Starbucks" as the logo and arrangement are nearly same.
They also got Plasma TV, LCD Screen and most importantly it is air-conditioned.
Well, I will update about the menu when i visit here again...

Fusilli Spicy Chicken TomYam Soup

I ordered Fusilli Spicy Chicken Tomyam Soup set. It came along with watermelon juice.

The tomayam is nice as it is spicy that i believe everyone can accept as the tomyam itself is really taste like tomyam unlike some shop which served tomyam which you can easily know that it is cook from tomyam powder. Besides that, watermelon juice is pure juice from watermelon. It is fresh.
They have outlet in Subang, The Summit USJ, Center Point Bandar Utama, Jusco Taman Maluri , Jusco Kinta City, Seberang Point City Shopping Center and of course Alamanda Putrajaya.

Environment~4/5

Price~3/5 (the food price is acceptable on range Rm10 above, price of drinks would be abit expensive but it depend on which drinks you order also)

Aunty Lan Restaurant

Restaurant Aunty Lan is a homemade Noodles restaurant located in Sg Chua, Kajang. It is exactly opposite the TLC(actually i am not sure about the name) Fitness Center. If you are still not sure about the location,another hint is that it is at the other side of Sg Chua Old Town. Meaning that if you are driving from Kajang, it is at the left turn of the traffic light near Old Town. If you are from Bangi, it is at the right turn on the traffic light.

Personally, i would recommend the egg with prawn and the dumpling. It was so delicious as there were all vege and prawn. The dumpling is also serve in soup and the price is same with the fried one.
This shop actually served variety of noodles including 扁面条，细面条，米粉。。You can have tomyam noodles, soup noodles,dry noodles and whatever noodles that you just named it. It also serve rice like chicken rice. Chop too like pork chop,chicken rice chop...Another good news is that they have 鱼肉米粉 instead of 鱼头米粉. Well, i never try but a friend of mine ordered and said that the food was not bad...
By the way, this shop sell cheese cake too~Durian cheese cake, Lemon cheese cake, Dragon fruit cheese cake and...But somehow there are only few types of cheese cake to choose at the counter instead of all the gambar-gambar that we can see on the menu...
Besides that, if you dine in after 3pm, there will be free of drinks to you...Most of the food price are less than Rm10. So it is good to have a try at Aunty Lan Homemade Noodles shop

Well, for this shop i would give a thumb up to the food and the environment.
